Asus Zenfone 5: A Writer’s Companion

It’s not every day that you come across a device in the market dedicated specially to a particular class of people, and results get even rarer when the targeted audience is “writers”. I have always been fond of reading, and have tried to remain with the tech world by upgrading myself from traditional paper books to sophisticated ebooks. Kindles have always fascinated me, but limitations like the size of the tablet, a completely new interface, a device entirely for reading without any other features, have kept me at bay.

Things weren’t that solid until one of my friends recommended me to buy an Asus Zenfone 5. I checked the online stores (Flipkart, to be specific), and ordered one without burning any hole in my pockets. The thing which I wanted to try first of all was the special “Reading mode” feature, which as claimed by company was dedicated especially for people like me. I got the phone, and loaded it with a few books to try the new witchcraft.

The results were really astonishing now. The moment I turned the mode on, the 5 inch HD screen turned as if it was a book in itself. The thing which amazed me was that even after 2 hours of continuous reading from mobile, I didn’t feel any strain on my eyes as is the problem with most of the other devices. I really appreciate the company’s efforts in launching a perfect companion for people like me who do read a lot, and even have to scribble down every now and then (all thanks to all new Super Note feature embedded in the smartphone).

The phone is not just economical, but it even looks beautiful in your hands. Asus surely knows how to design stuff. I already own a beautiful yet powerful Asus Zenbook, and the new Zenfone 5 seems to be worthy of the family.

I would recommend this device to all those who need a value for money android smartphone, comprising of all features like a good camera, easy multitasking, efficient processor, glorious display, and everything that’s needed in a single package.
